Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data Office and drive data-driven transformation across reinsurance, actuarial, finance, and corporate functions. The role emphasizes analytics, SQL, Azure cloud, and modern reporting capabilities.

You will help onboard treaty, premium, claims, and financial data into the FAIRR Data Hub, ensuring data quality and governance while collaborating with architecture, governance, and data science teams. Hybrid in-office work is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• Experience documenting complex data flows for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience engaging with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional and technical requirements for production-grade data and analytics solutions.
• Support Reinsurance Modernization and FAIRR Data Hub initiatives through data analysis and solution design.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.
• Analyze end-to-end reinsurance processes and define data mappings and source-to-target specs.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis.
