Corning Inc. is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to ensure enterprise data is accurate, consistent, and reliable across global functions. You will translate business needs into testable data quality rules and lead governance initiatives leveraging SAP Information Steward and SQL-based analysis.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, Agile project leadership, and continuous data governance improvement in a fast-paced IT environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data management, data quality, data governance, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with data quality systems, tools, and processes.
• SAP experience, especially with master data management and data quality.
• Experience leading multiple projects across functional teams.
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into measurable data quality rules.
• Strong analytical and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, resolve, and prevent data quality issues with data stewards and stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into clear, testable data quality rules.
• Monitor quality results and drive corrective actions through governance channels.
• Lead data quality improvement initiatives across global functions (Supply Chain, Engineering, Pricing, Finance, etc.).
• Lead Agile project activities and maintain progress updates.
• Maintain governance documentation, data standards, and master data processes.
• Support SAP Information Steward rules, SQL analyses, and Databricks governance solutions.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with partners.
• Communicate risks and improvements clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
