Job summary

Citi is seeking a Data Quality and Governance Analyst to join the AIM team in a hybrid setup in Chennai, India. The role focuses on data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and certification to support reliable decision making across retail banking functions.

You will design data quality rules using SQL and Python, monitor pipelines, build DQ dashboards, and collaborate with data stewards, IT, and business partners.

Qualifications

• Educational background: MBA / Masters Degree in Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering.
• 5-8 years hands-on experience in people management, delivering data quality, MIS, data management with banking industry experience.
• Post graduate in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Management Science or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Data Catalog/Dictionary including data lineage, definitions, and standards.
• Profile data to identify flaws and monitor data pipelines.
• Develop and implement data quality rules, checks, and validation logic.
• Lead remediation efforts and collaborate with data stewards, IT, and developers.
