Job summary

Citi in Pune, India is seeking a seasoned data analytics professional to join the Enterprise Data Office. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable analytics products across risk domains, engaging with business partners and technology teams to implement target state data capabilities.

You will work on data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and modern platforms (Spark, Hive, Databricks) while coordinating multi-project deliveries in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, and implementing scalable data analytical solutions in a large-scale business environment.
• 9+ years of experience.
• Experience with Distributed File System ecosystem tools: Linux, Python, Spark, Hive; and modern data platforms and tools (e.g. Databricks, NoSQL stores) and AI/ML frameworks (e.g. NLP).
• LLM integration patterns, RAG pipelines, and agentic AI architectures, including MCP server.
• Domain experience in Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity or Capital.
• Experience in defining data strategy for advanced analytical initiatives, including data governance, sourcing, and ethical considerations, with demonstrated awareness of industry data practices
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts related to AI and advanced analytics to non-technical audiences effectively
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives
• Keen attention to detail and process/analytic mindset

The Team sits within Citi’s Enterprise Data Office and has a focus on serving our business partners across Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity or Capital. This solution design and execution focused product development role will enable implementation of target state processes and data & technology capabilities, through engagement with 1st line teams, Technology, and individual business product teams.

What we’ll need from you
