Job summary

Software Technology Inc. in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced data quality and migration architect to own end-to-end migration governance, from framework design to decommissioning.

You will lead the pilot gates, defend routing decisions, and chair weekly governance with the client DQ lead. You will direct alias-to-table mappings, retirement validation of candidate jobs, and ensure parity sign-off before cutover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data quality, data engineering or data platform architecture, incl. migration leadership.
• Hands-on Databricks experience to review code and challenge design decisions.
• Experience with Collibra DQ or equivalent enterprise DQ platforms.
• Proven ownership of a data decommission programme.
• Ability to candidly communicate with clients while preserving schedule and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of migration end to end from framework design through to Collibra DQ decommission.
• Defend native-monitoring vs generated-SQL routing decisions with client and revise as pilot evidence lands.
• Own the pilot gate go/no-go and ensure exit criteria are met for each dataset.
• Chair weekly governance with client’s DQ lead and report progress, risk and defect trends to sponsors.
• Direct alias-to-table mapping, retirement validation of candidate jobs, and scope adjudication with the client DQ team.
• Own parity sign-off so no dataset is cut over without written steward approval.
