Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Data Migration Engineer to design and lead complex data migration initiatives. You will own migration delivery components, ensure high-quality outcomes, and collaborate with Product, QA and business teams across hybrid onsite environments in Westlake, TX and Merrimack, NH.

You will work on pipelines, mappings, validation rules, and troubleshooting while driving data quality, reconciliation, and readiness for cutover.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in data engineering or migration.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and SQL; proficient in Python.
• Experience with cloud data platforms Azure and AWS.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and transformation patterns.
• Experience with testing, validation and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to lead small teams or initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data migration pipelines and workflows.
• Define data mappings, transformation logic and validation rules.
• Lead migration execution and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and business teams.
• Conduct data quality assessments and remediation.
• Support cutover planning and execution.
• Contribute to improving tools, frameworks and processes.
