Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Data Migration Engineer to design and lead data migration initiatives for enterprise-scale projects. You will own migration pipelines, data mappings, validation rules, and drive execution with attention to data quality and reconciliation.

With 7-10 years in data engineering or migration, you will collaborate with Product, QA and business teams, mentor small teams, and contribute to tooling and process improvements.

Qualifications

7-10 years in data engineering or migration.
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and SQL, Python.
Experience with cloud data platforms Azure and AWS.
Strong understanding of data modeling and transformation patterns.
Experience with testing, validation and reconciliation processes.
Ability to lead small teams or initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data migration pipelines and workflows.
Define data mappings, transformation logic and validation rules.
Lead migration execution and troubleshooting.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness and reconciliation.
Collaborate with Product, QA and business teams.
Conduct data quality assessments and remediation.
Support cutover planning and execution.
Contribute to improving tools, frameworks and processes.
