Job summary

Nimble Robotics is seeking a Manager, Data Quality & Annotation to own the quality bar for operator data across multiple sites from our San Francisco HQ. You will define rubrics, build audit workflows, and stand up an annotation engine with a remote team to keep labeled data flowing to research on schedule.

Based in San Francisco, you will drive KPI dashboards, ensure rapid feedback loops to site supervisors, and partner with research to address task-family drift and failure modes as the company

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data operations, annotation/labeling QA for ML systems; robotics/teleoperation data preferred.
• Track record building quality standards from scratch (rubrics, SOPs, QC workflows).
• Experience managing annotation or review teams, including remote/offshore or vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Own episode acceptance criteria for every task family; translate needs into auditable standards.
• Lead annotation and episode-review queue, build scalable team/workflows.
• Manage a remote annotation team with overnight turnaround SLA.
• Design and run a QA audit program with coverage targets and inter-rater reliability checks.
• Run operator quality feedback loops and deliver scorecards within 24 hours.
• Define quality metrics and build dashboards in collaboration with analytics.
• Own certification bar for onboarding and data collection.
• Drive weekly loop with research and engineering on failures and drift.
