Job summary

Dyna Robotics is seeking an Annotation Ops Lead to own the data labeling workspace from day one. You will run the operations, define SOPs, and establish scalable processes while collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure throughput and quality.

As you prove yourself, you will grow from leading a small pod of labelers to managing the full annotation team, driving hiring, performance, and process improvements in a fast-paced robotics environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years running operations, program management, or team management in a high-throughput environment.
• Direct people management experience with hiring and performance handling.
• Strong operational instincts, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting ownership.
• Familiarity with annotation tools such as Encord and basic SQL or scripting.
• Vendor and third-party management experience with external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple threads (≈20) while keeping operations predictable.

Responsibilities

• Own the reporting rhythm with daily/weekly throughput and ETAs; distribute scorecards to team and stakeholders.
• Own the Encord pipeline end-to-end: create projects, SOPs, ontologies, track stages and dataset updates.
• Measure and unblock by monitoring throughput, cycle times, and bottlenecks; raise flags early.
• Extend and maintain automation and runbooks to reduce manual toil.
