Job summary

Nimble Robotics HQ in San Francisco seeks a Manager, Data Quality & Annotation to own the quality bar for sensor data and model training. You will define rubrics, build audits, and scale an annotation engine with remote teams to deliver labeled data on schedule.

This hands-on, metrics-driven role requires setting acceptance criteria for each task family, managing site operators and offshore vendors, and delivering dashboards and feedback loops to research and engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data operations, annotation/labeling operations, or data collection QA for ML systems.
• Experience managing annotation or review teams, including remote/offshore or vendor/BPO.
• Ability to deliver frequent quality feedback to operators or annotators.
• High tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-growth, multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Own episode acceptance criteria for every task family and translate needs into auditable standards.
• Build and manage the annotation engine, including a remote/onsite mix of operators.
• Design and run QA audits with coverage targets and inter-rater reliability checks.
• Operate dashboards and reporting in partnership with analytics for org-wide visibility.
• Lead a weekly loop with research and engineering on failure modes and data drift.
