Job summary

Starkey Laboratories, a leader in hearing technology, seeks a Data Protection & Governance Analyst to own DLP and information-protection controls in Microsoft Purview and to administer security settings across Microsoft 365. The role leads training and organizational change management for new protections and advances enterprise data governance.

Responsibilities include building SITs, labeling strategies, and coordinating with SOC/MDR partners while enabling scalable AI-enabled security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• 5+ years in information security or IT.
• 3+ years hands-on Microsoft Purview/DLP experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Purview: DLP, labels, SITs, classifiers.

Responsibilities

• Own design, configuration, tuning, and validation of DLP policies across email, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and endpoints.
• Administer sensitivity-label taxonomy, auto-labeling policies, and label-based protection.
• Maintain SaaS security settings for large enterprise apps with Microsoft 365 / Purview as primary platform.
• Lead end-user training and change management for new controls.
• Develop AI assistant to answer security-program questions and curate knowledge base.
