Optomi Professional Services is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale technical initiatives encompassing Big Data, BI, analytics, data engineering, APIs, dashboards, and data visualization.

You will partner with Product, Analytics, Data Engineering, and other stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable requirements and drive initiatives from concept through deployment and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar role.
• Experience managing Big Data, BI, Analytics, Data Engineering, or data projects.
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams in a technical environment.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, data analytics, BI, data visualization.
• Experience delivering from concept to concrete solution or product.
• Ability to understand technical concepts when coordinating with engineering and data teams.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Product, Analytics, Data Engineering, and other teams to define requirements.
• Translate requirements into actionable technical documents and deliverables.
• Own and manage projects from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Lead cross-functional project execution across implementation phases.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate large teams across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data, and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary PM contact, aligning technical and business teams.
• Facilitate meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
• Identify risks and drive timely resolution.
• Monitor progress against timelines and objectives.
• Ensure alignment on requirements, priorities, scope, and outcomes.
• Support data, analytics, BI, API, and visualization solution delivery.
• Coordinate validation and quality activities for data deliverables.
• Communicate status, risks, and key decisions to leadership.
• Apply project management methodologies per initiative needs.
