Job summary

Westport Properties, doing business as US Storage Centers, seeks a Data Project Coordinator to oversee data-driven projects across departments such as marketing, accounting, and operations. You will act as the primary liaison between the data team and business units to scope, manage, and deliver technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and analytical skills; experience with SQL, Excel, and data processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, quantitative, or technical field, or equivalent.
• Equivalent work experience may substitute educational requirements.
• Internship or on-the-job experience coordinating projects in analytics, data, IT, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Run intake for data team requests and log in the team’s tracking system.
• Scope projects with stakeholders; define business question, deliverable, data sources, owner, and definition of done.
• Track active projects, deadlines and blockers; publish a weekly status summary.
• Translate business requests into technical requirements for the team; translate results for stakeholders.
• Validate deliverables against source data using SQL and Excel; ensure alignment with original request.
• Maintain project documentation including scope documents and runbooks.
• Track recurring data processes such as monthly loads and reporting cycles.
• Report outcomes including time saved and dollar impact where measurable.
• Oversee AI/LLM usage and environment curation for agentic solutions.
• Regular attendance as per Attendance Policy is required.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.
