Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in data and analytics, including hands‑on engineering, architecture, or platform experience, with at least 3 years leading delivery or managing a portfolio of data work.
• Demonstrated ownership of a demand intake, portfolio, or product backlog process serving multiple business stakeholders.
• Working technical depth in Azure data services such as Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Synapse or Fabric, and Azure SQL, and in Databricks including Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and workflows.
• Experience directing outsourced or managed service delivery partners, including design review and formal acceptance of their work.

Responsibilities

• Demand Intake and Portfolio Management: Own end-to-end demand intake for data and analytics; publish service levels; maintain backlog; report throughput, aging, and demand mix; translate problems into data product definitions; facilitate prioritization forums; consolidate duplicate requests into reusable data products.
• Guidance to Outsourced Data Architecture and Data Management Teams: Provide day-to-day technical direction; define guardrails; review partner estimates and delivery plans; hold partners accountable through acceptance criteria and remediation plans; ensure knowledge transfer and runbooks are produced.
