Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Data Products & BI Lead for Wallet, Payments & Commerce in the US. You will own end-to-end analytics platforms, from instrumentation to last-mile datasets and interactive visualization, mentoring engineers and shaping the analytics foundation at scale.

You’ll partner with product, design, engineering, and business teams to deliver trustworthy insights, leveraging AI/LLMs and a strong metrics layer while ensuring privacy and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years creating data and AI analytics products.
• 3+ years as a senior IC leading data product development across multiple business lines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Scala, Python with hands-on experience in data pipeline tools.

Responsibilities

• Define data instrumentation specs, user journeys, and interaction flows to collect behavioral, transactional, and operational data.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytical last‑mile datasets and data products.
• Design and build a solid metrics layer to drive trustworthy insights and AI‑driven inferences.
• Establish data quality frameworks to ensure accuracy and consistency across all data products.
• Develop data visualizations leveraging AI and modern tools.
• Collaborate closely with partners across product, engineering, design, and business to gather requirements.
• Lead discovery workshops with domain experts and synthesize requirements into wireframes and development specifications.
• This role is a senior IC position with team influence, mentoring junior engineers.
