Ally Financial is seeking a Data Product Owner to help build a centralized data warehouse and develop analytics tools for business units. You will work with data engineers to extract data from various sources, design dashboards, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in similar role
• Bachelor's degree in business related discipline Education may be used as a proxy for experience
• 1+ years experience in consumer lending or financial services industry
• Ability to perform technical based activities
• Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
• Leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results

Responsibilities

• Develop centralized data warehouse using Ally's Enterprise Data & Analytics standards.
• Develop curated data layers for business units to utilize for analysis and insights.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines with data engineering team.
• Extract data from traditional data warehouse, big data ecosystems and cloud data warehouses for business users.
• Translate requirements to design and develop tools, metrics, dashboards for insights.
