Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a detailed Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Solutions Support Team in a hybrid role. You will build and maintain dashboards and reports with Power BI, write SQL against Snowflake, and use Python and Power Automate for automation and analytics.

You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver insights that drive operations and decisions. This position emphasizes data quality, scalable analytics, and close partnership with stakeholders to translate needs into

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Preferred: Banking/financial services analytics experience.
• Experience with SQL and large cloud datasets (Snowflake).
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization principles.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create data/analytical products to support Auto Operations.
• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract and analyze data from Snowflake.
• Use Python and Power Automate for data wrangling, automation and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate into solutions.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance checks.
• Support ad-hoc reporting using Excel and other tools as needed.
• Partner with data and engineering teams to improve data infrastructure.
