Data Product Owner (Supply Chain) | Contract | Remote

Optomi, in partnership with a client in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Data Product Owner to lead the strategy and development of data integrations across modern platforms and enterprise systems. This role will own the product vision, drive roadmap execution, and deliver high-value data capabilities in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product ownership of data integrations across internal, external, and SaaS platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, QA, analytics, and vendor teams
• Define requirements for data workflows and pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau
• Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog, develop user stories, and ensure value delivery
• Act as the voice of the customer and drive continuous improvement in Agile development cycles
• Establish metrics to track and communicate the business value of delivered features
• Maintain responsibility for product operations including prioritization, delivery, and resourcing coordination
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years in Product Ownership, Product Management, IT Business Analysis, or similar roles
• Strong experience with data integration and modern data stack technologies
• Proven success in Agile/Scrum environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agile or SAFe certification
• Experience with Atlassian tools, Lucidchart/Visio
• Background in eCommerce, restaurant tech, or food distribution industries
