Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Product Owner in Deerfield Beach, FL for a multi-year contract. The role combines product ownership with data management leadership, requiring collaboration with data leaders across governance, analytics, and automation.

Expect Agile-driven delivery, backlog management, and strong Azure DevOps experience. This hybrid onsite role emphasizes stakeholder communication and delivering customer value.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile, and managing a portfolio that spans data management functions.
• Partnered with data leaders before to drive strategy and delivery across solutions, engineering, governance, analytics, and automation/reporting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate the product manager's strategy into actionable features, stories, and tasks.
• Refine and prioritize the backlog to reflect latest priorities and insights.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure shared understanding of backlog items and deliver efficiently.
• Accept completed user stories and ensure they meet acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
• Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team and stakeholders.

Title: Data Product Owner
Location:Deerfield Beach, FL, 3 days hybrid onsite
Duration:Multi-year contract
Compensation: $65.00 - 70.00/hr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

• Big focus of the job is to work with the leaders of all the teams that make up data management
• Must have partnered with data leaders before. They need a track record of collaborating and strategizing with leaders across several data functions: solutions, engineering, governance, analytics, and automation/reporting.
• Need experience using Agile and will manage a portfolio that makes up data management as a whole
• This person will create the epics and stories and enable that in the teams
• They do need ADO experience
• Don’t necessarily have to have a Product Owner title, but does need those type of functional skills, collaborating,strategizing with leaders etc.
• They need to have grown up in the data world.

Data Product Owner

Serving as the 'voice of the customer,' the Product Owner must build and manage key relationships, synthesize information from multiple sources, maintain business alignment in the Team Backlog, and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences—all with a bias toward delivering, and learning, quickly.

• Translate product manager's strategy into actionable features, stories and tasks
• Ensure alignment between product goals and overall business objectives

• Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects the latest priorities and insights
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of backlog items and facilitate efficient delivery
• Accept completed user stories to ensure the work fulfills the acceptance criteria
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
• Communicate the voice of the customer to the development team
• Communicate progress to key stakeholders throughout the sprint and release
