Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Product Manager to shape scalable data products within Employee Platforms. You will bridge business stakeholders, data engineers, and governance to translate needs into governed data assets that drive smarter workflows and operational outcomes.

The role emphasizes discovery, design, and delivery of data products, with a focus on clarity, governance, and measurable impact across enterprise processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data product management or analytics platforms.
• Experience translating stakeholder requirements into deliverable roadmaps/backlogs.
• Ability to define KPIs and metrics to guide decisions and measure success.
• Experience with data governance in a multi-domain enterprise environment.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, product, operations, and governance teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand workflow goals, pain points and translate needs into product requirements and user stories.
• Analyze stakeholder workflows end-to-end to identify opportunities for automation and data-driven decision making; define success metrics.
• Define data domain concepts and metric logic to enable reuse and consistency across teams.
• Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to deliver curated datasets and governed metrics layers; document lineage and metadata.
• Apply data governance practices across the enterprise, including ownership, stewardship, data quality, and change control.
• Drive product adoption with training, documentation, and office hours; embed analytics into operating rhythms.
• Manage product lifecycle: backlog management, prioritization, releases, and deprecation; align with risk and control expectations.
• Communicate metrics and analytics clearly to intended audiences and channels.
