Kapitus, Inc. is seeking a Data Product Manager to own data products end-to-end, bridging business requirements with data engineering, governance, and customer-facing teams.

You’ll manage products through ideation, build, launch, adoption, and retirement, with a focus on outcomes and value rather than just technical output. This role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and vertical domain knowledge in small business lending or related financial services.

Qualifications

• Experience in data product management and lifecycle ownership.
• Business vertical experience in lending/financing is required.
• Ability to define outcome-driven metrics and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Identify data-driven problems and quantify value before building.
• Define outcome metrics and maintain a metrics dictionary.
• Own usage reporting, scorecards, and retirement planning for products.
• Translate requirements into testable, well-defined specs with acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with data engineering, governance, and customer-facing teams.
