U.S. Bank is seeking a data governance expert to advance enterprise data governance, data domain management, and data product governance within the Innovation and Transformation Office. This role is hands-on, focusing on turning data into a trusted enterprise asset.

You will collaborate with Data Product Owners, Data Domain Owners, and Technology teams to operationalize risk data products, ensure alignment with policies, and promote modern data platforms and value-driven governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four to five years of experience in data governance activities.
• Familiarity with data governance tooling and data architecture concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject-matter expertise in data governance and data product governance.
• Partner with Data Product Owners, Data Domain Owners, Data Stewards, and Technology teams to define and operationalize risk data products.
• Ensure data products align with governance policies and standards while meeting quality and security requirements.
• Document value, ownership, lineage, and lifecycle requirements for trusted data assets.
• Promote data product management principles and collaborate to enable modern data architectures.
