Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Data Product Owner to drive strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery of data products within the Investment Services Data Domain.

You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, governance partners, and technology teams to translate needs into scalable, governed data products that support reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled use cases. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically eight or more years of experience in data, analytics, product management, business analysis, technology delivery, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and priorities for assigned data products.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlogs.
• Lead intake, prioritization, and roadmap discussions balancing value, objectives, dependencies, risk, and capacity.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, analytics, and governance teams to deliver scalable data products.
• Champion data-as-a-product principles, including governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle management.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement through stakeholder engagement and measurement of outcomes.
• Support the development of governed 'gold' data products to improve consistency and reuse.
• Identify opportunities to modernize data assets and support cloud migration.
