Job summary

Dynata, a leader in first-party data, seeks a Data Product Engineer to own the lifecycle of data products on the lakehouse platform. You will bridge business consumers and technical teams to enable analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases with trusted, well-documented data products.

You will define roadmaps, gather requirements, collaborate with data engineers, and establish KPIs while promoting a data-as-a-product culture across domains. Governance and secure data access are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a product management, data management, or analytics role.
• 3+ years managing data products in a modern data lakehouse or data warehouse.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQL proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of the data product framework and advocate for data-as-a-product culture.
• Coordinate with governance, infosec, and compliance teams to ensure product-level policies are enforced.

Acting as the bridge between business consumers and technical teams, this role drives the definition, prioritization, and delivery of trusted, well-documented data products that enable analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.

The base salary range for this position in is $140K-$160K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
