Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Product Engineer on the Data team who will build internal products on top of a unified data model. You will own end-to-end products, talk to users, design data, and ship interfaces while measuring impact.

You’ll work across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, People and Sustainment, solving messy operational problems and learning new skills as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building software or data products as a Product Engineer or similar role.
• Track record shipping 0→1 products used by people.
• Strong product sense to distinguish real problems from stated ones.
• Strong data modeling fundamentals and ability to explain trade-offs.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; quick to learn new languages/frameworks.
• Comfort with users and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own products from 0 to 1, identify high-leverage problems and iterate with users.
• Treat operators as customers; understand domain in depth and translate needs into software.
• Build across the stack: data model, backend logic and UI using appropriate tools.
• Extend the ontology by updating the unified data model as needed.
• Ship fast with tight feedback loops; measure impact on how the business runs.
• Make product calls: decide what to build, scope and cut when needed.
• Raise the bar by showing what's possible when data models become products.
