Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Data Product Engineer to shape the Data & Analytics team, delivering trusted data products and governance for company-wide reporting. You will lead end-to-end data pipelines, semantic layers, and AI-enabled workflows in a collaborative environment.

You will design scalable data architectures, implement analytics governance, and mentor engineers while partnering with security, platform, and product teams to deliver value-driven data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/analytics engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated mastery of data engineering and analytics engineering, with strong data modeling and ELT design.
• Deep experience with SQL, Python, data modeling, ELT, dbt, orchestration, and cloud data services (GCP BigQuery, dbt, Airflow).
• Strong DevOps practices: Git, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale data pipelines, models, and reusable data products for BI, internal apps, and AI consumers.
• Establish standards for architecture, data contracts, documentation, access control, and governance.
• Operate a governed semantic layer with consistent metrics across reporting, APIs, and AI services.
• Improve data quality, observability, monitoring, and cost management; advance CI/CD and deployment practices.
