Job summary

Lambda Labs in San Francisco is seeking an Internal Tools & Data Product Analyst to turn manual reporting into trusted, self-serve data products and streamline workflows. You will define metrics with stakeholders and help build dashboards, prioritizing automation to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks.

You’ll work with data and lightweight tooling, including SQL and AI-assisted coding, to ship practical tools and specs for engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Early-career product, business operations, analytics, or technical program management experience.
• Comfort working directly with data, spreadsheets, and lightweight tooling (SQL, no-code platforms, AI coding assistants).
• Some exposure to designing a workflow or tool from the end user's point of view, not just the data behind it.
• A track record of shipping something — a tool, a process fix, an internal script.

Responsibilities

• Define key metrics and establish a trusted data source for metrics.
• Turn manually-built reports into live self-serve dashboards for executives.
• Prioritize reports or metrics for automation based on manual, stale, or error-prone status.
• Identify and scope workflow automation, including light scripting and no-code options.
• Write clear specs for engineering handoffs to partners.
• Help maintain a visible roadmap and build strong stakeholder relationships.
