Job summary

Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking a data-focused leader to define and execute the analytics strategy for developer productivity in an AI-first org. You’ll partner with Engineering/Product to measure how tools and workflows move engineers faster, building evidence that informs investment and direction.

You’ll own end-to-end data strategy, create pipelines, dashboards, and models, and present data-backed conclusions to leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data science experience in infrastructure, performance, or platform contexts.
• Direct experience with developer productivity or internal tooling at scale.
• Experience measuring AI-assisted workflows adoption or similar tooling.
• Track record of building experimentation or causal-inference practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambiguous, high-stakes investigations to define questions and gather evidence.
• Define metrics framework for developer productivity in an AI-augmented org.
• Build pipelines, dashboards, and models with hands-on data work.
• Influence engineering, infrastructure, and product leadership with data.
