As a Data Processing Te chn i cia n, you will perform basic data processing tasks under supervision and with guidance. You’ll perform duties such as supporting basic data processing activities, performing routine data entry and verification tasks, assisting in organizing and cleaning datasets to meet mission requirements, and collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and timely data processing as the mission evolves.

As a client-facing data analyst on our National Security team, you will collaborate closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs while wrangling data from their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of the data, but you will also advise on industry standards and how to exploit the resources to positively impact our national security space mission.

You'll use your te chn ical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships.You'll research, develop, and test data methodologies, and generate cross-functional solutions through analysis of large data sets.

You'll contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations and you will apply collaboration skills and data analytics to simplify te chn ical requirements and trends.You'll establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive te chn ical outcomes and you'll apply data visualization through various presentation formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.You will grow your communication and te chn ical skills by merging advising and big data to create data-centric solutions across the space mission.

You Have:

Experience with performing basic data processing tasks

Knowledge of intelligence production

Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely data reporting

Ability to work a 24 / 7 shift rotation

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience with working at a ground station or with signals intelligence, or 4+ years of experience with working at a ground station or with signals intelligence in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience with data processing sof tware and tools, including Excel, SQL, and data management systems

Experience with analyzing and interpreting various data sets

Ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy in handling data

Ability to troubleshoot te chn ical issues and provide effective solutions

Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders

Possession of excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
