Job summary

Brother USA is seeking a Specialist, Data Privacy to lead the privacy program across the US, Canada, and Latin America. You will oversee DSAR workflows, DPIAs, and TrustArc administration, translating legal requirements into practical controls while collaborating with Legal, IT, and business units.

The role requires a strong background in data privacy, with experience in governance, policy development, and cross-border compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data privacy or information governance.
• Experience managing DSARs, privacy assessments, and cookie consent management.
• CIPP certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the privacy program across US, Canada, and Latin America.
• Lead DSAR workflows and ensure timely responses with proper redaction when needed.
• Conduct DPIAs and privacy risk assessments for new processing activities.
• Administer TrustArc platform and annual DPF recertification.
• Draft privacy policies and training materials for colleagues.
