Job summary

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. (DSA) seeks a Senior Privacy Analyst to support the National Privacy Program, focusing on privacy governance, PIAs, SORNs, and data protections across Agency systems. The role reports to the Program Manager and requires strong privacy compliance skills.

The candidate will review PTA questionnaires, maintain privacy records, and train privacy officials, with hybrid work options allowing onsite or client-site work in the US.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years in privacy/compliance role
• Experience with U.S. federal government Agency or contractor
• Experience assessing risk and advising on organizational controls
• Knowledge of Privacy Act and FOIA
• Knowledge of FISMA and NIST guidelines
• Ability to work with limited supervision and meet milestones
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide SME on privacy and data protection to ingrain privacy-by-design in processes and projects
• Review PTA questionnaires to determine PII, PIA, and SORN requirements
• Evaluate PIA for compliance with laws, risks, and protections
• Lead and coordinate privacy data calls across the Agency
• Assist with evaluation of NIST SP 800-53 privacy controls
• Maintain the Federal Information System Registry for Privacy
• Train Agency Liaison Privacy Officials and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and directives across programs
