Job summary

Ulta Beauty’s Data Privacy & Security Awareness Internship offers hands-on experience in privacy governance, data protection, and security awareness. You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Product Management and Business Operations to support privacy-by-design and data protection efforts while delivering engaging communications and training.

The program is a 10-week, hybrid track for Corporate interns and in-person for Distribution Center and Field interns,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Comfort with MS Office and data visualization tools.
• Interest in privacy, cybersecurity, governance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Assist privacy program activities related to CCPA/CPRA and other requirements.
• Maintain privacy documentation and records of processing activities.
• Participate in PIAs and DPIAs for new products/services.
• Document data flows and maintain enterprise data inventories.
• Develop privacy/cybersecurity awareness content for associates.
• Support executive summaries, metrics, and leadership reporting.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Engineering, PM, and Ops.
