Job summary

Jobot is seeking a data privacy and security compliance attorney to work directly with partners who specialize in privacy. The role offers a base up to $200k plus bonus, with hybrid work in Denver or Boulder and on-site 3 days per week initially.

The attorney will advise clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500s on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, AI regulations, draft privacy provisions for contracts, support M&A privacy diligence, and help implement privacy programs.

Qualifications

• Colorado Bar admission, or willingness to become licensed
• 4+ years of data privacy and security compliance experience, coming out of a law firm's data privacy practice or a tech company's in-house privacy team
• Experience in data privacy and cybersecurity compliance, AI governance, technology transactions, M&A privacy diligence, or in-house privacy department

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy and cybersecurity compliance, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and AI/automation regulations
• Draft and negotiate data privacy provisions in commercial contracts (DPA, SaaS, IP licensing)
• Support M&A privacy diligence and assist with privacy program implementations
• Manage data breach preparedness, response, and internal investigations
