Job summary

TruHome Solutions, LLC is seeking a hands-on Manager of Data Platforms to lead the data and analytics foundation powering mortgage origination and servicing. You will guide a small team, stabilize SQL Server operations, and drive a cloud data platform on Databricks/Azure while maturing Power BI as the enterprise BI standard.

The role requires deep data engineering and BI expertise, strong communication with technical and business stakeholders, and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced mortgage

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a technical field is required; a master’s is preferred.
• Extensive data engineering and BI platform experience across data and BI domains.
• Experience leading small technical teams and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Cloud data platforms experience (Azure, Databricks) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team for Data and BI Platforms, promoting technical excellence and learning.
• Own SQL Server data warehouse operations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and outbound feeds to credit unions.
• Mature the BI platform (Power BI) end-to-end including governance and performance tuning.
• Shape data and analytics strategy with a new cloud data platform on Databricks and Azure.
• Improve data integration, modeling, quality, and documentation for trusted data sources.
• Apply AI capabilities to accelerate delivery and improve data accessibility.
• Manage Agile/Scrum intake, prioritization, and delivery for platform work.
• Partner with business leaders and clients, translating needs into platform capabilities.
• Onboard new credit unions by building outbound data pipelines to core systems.
• Support data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance; collaborate with risk and IT teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and assist with budgeting for tools and contractors.
