You will drive automation, AI-assisted reliability, and cost optimization while partnering with product, analytics, and data science teams to turn platform capabilities into measurable business value. On-site schedule with cross-data-center collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years building and operating enterprise-grade data platforms or large-scale distributed data systems, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on experience with production batch and streaming systems (Spark, Flink, Hadoop, Kafka, Druid, ClickHouse).
• Strong knowledge of data architectures (data lakes/warehouses/lakehouse) and scalable pipelines.
• Proven ability to improve throughput, reliability, or cost efficiency via automation or architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data and software engineers; foster ownership and engineering rigor.
• Own end-to-end delivery for pipelines, jobs, and data assets; manage SLAs and incident response.
• Innovate with automation, AI, and self-healing pipelines; enable AI-assisted reliability and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering partners to define roadmaps.
• Work with Data Foundation to align platform capabilities with business needs and governance policies.
• Ensure governance and compliance across pipelines, datasets, and tooling for US data environment.
