Noetik is a frontier therapeutics company harnessing AI to decode biology and advance oncology. We build proprietary multimodal datasets, train foundation models, and integrate AI deeply into drug discovery.

Join a highly technical, interdisciplinary team in South San Francisco, with a hybrid work model. You’ll own data pipelines, design schemas, and scale processing using cloud infrastructure while collaborating across software, ML, and scientific teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills and the ability to build high-quality, maintainable software beyond notebooks.
• Experience developing data processing, scientific computing, image processing, or computational pipelines used by others.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, metadata, schemas, dataset versioning, and reliable data access.
• Experience with image processing, computer vision, medical imaging, or large-scale image datasets.
• Strong quantitative and computational problem-solving; ability to evaluate unfamiliar datasets and processing approaches.
• Experience writing tested, reusable, production-quality software with version control and automated testing.
• Ability to learn quickly across data science, software engineering, and scientific computing.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools and agents while maintaining correctness and maintainability.
• Collaborative and low ego, focused on team-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and productionize scientific data pipelines: Python-based pipelines to process large-scale datasets.
• Develop image and scientific data processing methods: normalization, registration, segmentation, feature extraction, QC.
• Own end-to-end software development: from development to production deployment and improvement.
• Design data models and schemas: metadata schemas, data models, interfaces for complex datasets.
• Collaborate across disciplines: work with engineers, ML researchers, and scientists to integrate data.
• Build reusable tools and libraries: tooling to apply methods across large datasets.
• Improve data processing workflows: increase correctness, scalability, reproducibility, efficiency.
• Scale computational workloads: leverage distributed computing and cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage AI development tools: use modern AI coding tools to accelerate implementation and debugging.
