Qualifications

• PhD/MD or equivalent in cancer biology or related translational field.
• Experience in drug discovery or development with go/no-go decisions.
• Ability to translate hypotheses into viable therapeutic programs.
• Comfort with biology, ML, computation, and strategy.
• Hands-on use of AI tools in scientific work.
• Systems-thinking mindset prioritizing competing opportunities.
• Excellent scientific judgment and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own evaluation and champion biological insights and therapeutic opportunities from first look through portfolio nomination.
• Work cross-functionally to drive programs forward by defining questions, criteria, and actions at each stage
• Develop platform-informed hypotheses around targets, mechanisms, patient populations, biomarkers, and clinical strategy
• Build evidence packages informing investment, partnering, and development decisions
• Design and improve AI-enabled workflows that enhance therapeutic decision-making
• Prioritize across the portfolio balancing biological opportunity, technical feasibility, clinical impact, and strategic fit
