Job summary

ICW Group, headquartered in San Diego, seeks a Data Engineer II to own the operational health of our data platform stack. You will manage production workloads, ensure uptime and data quality, and drive cost efficiency across the data ecosystem.

You will partner with development, governance, and cloud teams to monitor pipelines, perform incident response, and implement improvements that keep data reliable and accessible for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a tech field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in Data Engineering or data platform support.
• Experience with data lakehouse/warehouse platforms and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines and production health after handoff.
• Provide day-to-day production support for on-prem and cloud pipelines.
• Monitor and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues.
• Administer data warehouse/lakehouse and enforce security policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on governance and improvements.
