Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Product Owner for data platforms to lead SAC dashboards, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and BigQuery analytics. You will own the roadmap, translate business needs into clear requirements, and partner with engineering to deliver scalable data solutions.

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, drive backlog priorities, and ensure high-quality data products while supporting US-based customers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a product owner or data product manager in analytics or data platforms.
• Hands-on with SAC dashboards, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and BigQuery.
• Strong understanding of data concepts including governance and lifecycle management.
• Ability to engage customers, define requirements, and guide platform best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a cross-functional setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the product owner for data platforms and applications, including SAC, Azure Data Factory, and BigQuery.
• Own the product roadmap and ensure solutions meet business needs and analytics strategy.
• Interface between business stakeholders, engineering, and platform owners to define features and releases.
• Ensure data products and pipelines are reliable, high-quality, and scalable.
• Lead requirement definition, backlog prioritization, user story creation, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive continuous improvement across tools and teams.
