Job summary

Viasat is seeking a data product leader to own key data platforms and SAC dashboards. You will translate business needs into product requirements for SAC, Azure Data Factory, and BigQuery, and drive the roadmap with engineering and stakeholders.

You will partner with teams to validate designs, manage releases, and ensure reliable, scalable data solutions for U.S. customers in a site-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a product owner, data product manager, or technical lead in analytics or data platforms.
• Hands-on familiarity with SAC dashboards, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and BigQuery datasets.
• Strong understanding of data concepts (ETL/ELT, data quality, governance).
• Ability to work with customers to understand needs and guide best practices.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the product owner for data platforms and SAC, Azure Data Factory, and BigQuery.
• Own the product roadmap and align with Data & Analytics strategy.
• Interface with business stakeholders, engineering, and platform owners to define features and releases.
• Ensure data products are reliable, high quality, and optimized for performance.
• Lead requirement definition, backlog prioritization, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive continuous improvement of data products and operational workflows.
