Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a Product Manager for Mixpanel Data to own the strategy and roadmap for how our data architecture evolves within the modern data stack. You will shape decisions on data warehouses, lakes, and integrations to support a growing product portfolio.

You will partner with engineering and data teams to turn ambiguous tradeoffs into a clear point of view, define metrics, and communicate a compelling narrative to leadership and customers about how data infrastructure enables better

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on product management, including infrastructure or platform work.
• Experience with the modern data stack and data platforms as builder or owner.
• Ability to synthesize complex tradeoffs into a clear strategic POV.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Mixpanel Data strategy and roadmap with data warehouse and data lake context.
• Turn architecture tradeoffs into clear recommendations grounded in evidence.
• Partner with engineering on build-vs-integrate-vs-partner decisions shaping data architecture.
• Talk directly to customers to understand changing data workflows and translate into bets.
• Build business case for infrastructure investments with measurable ROI.
• Define how data model, governance, and metadata evolve to support analysis.
• Align engineering, design, and GTM around a shared strategic view with clear communication.
• Define and track metrics to validate strategy and adapt with new evidence.
