Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking a Product Manager for Mixpanel Data to own strategy and roadmap for data architecture evolution, including data warehouses, lakes, and governance. You will turn ambiguous tradeoffs into a clear point of view and work with engineering leadership to shape the data stack for years to come.

You'll translate customer data workflows into product bets, build the business case for infrastructure investments, and align teams with a shared strategic narrative while measuring progress

Qualifications

• Experience owning infrastructure- or platform-level product areas.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguous data-architecture tradeoffs into a clear point of view.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategy and roadmap for data infrastructure evolution.
• Turn complex tradeoffs into clear recommendations with measurable impact.
• Partner with engineering on build-vs-integrate-vs-partner decisions.
• Engage with customers to understand data workflows and translate into bets.
• Build a business case for long-horizon data investments.
• Define data model, governance, and metadata evolution.
• Align squads around a shared strategic direction and communicate clearly.
• Define and track metrics to validate strategy effectiveness.
