Premier Trailer Leasing is building its next-generation Enterprise Data Platform to support growth in a hybrid data modernization plan. Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive data engineering or data platform experience, including a production greenfield Snowflake deployment
• Deep Snowflake experience with architecture, RBAC, security, cost governance, performance, and operations
• dbt Cloud expertise with GitHub for modular transformation development, testing, lineage, and deployment
• Production pipeline ownership for ingestion, CDC, transformation, and delivery with resilience and incident handling
• Data modeling expertise for conformed enterprise models, marts, and canonical data products
• Strong software engineering practices: SQL, Python, Git, CI/CD, code review, modular development
• Security, governance, and cost discipline across cloud data environments
• Pragmatic technical leadership with ownership of reliability and production delivery
• Location in or willing to commute to Plano, TX 3+ days/week

Responsibilities

• Design and build a modern data platform on Snowflake with dbt Cloud and managed ingestion tools
• Establish engineering standards, Git workflows, modular development, testing, CI/CD, and production deployment controls
• Develop layered data architecture from raw ingestion to published data products
• Design and operate resilient ingestion patterns for SQL Server, ERP, CRM, SaaS apps, APIs, files
• Profile legacy sources and migrate consumers to governed data products
• Set up automated testing, freshness monitoring, schema-change controls, and observability
• Design Snowflake environments with role-based access, cost controls, and security features
• Publish governed data products to Power BI, SSRS, Excel, HubSpot, Jira, APIs
• Lead the platform technically, ensuring production readiness and documentation
