Job summary

CHANEL seeks a Manager, Data Platform Engineer – Microsoft Fabric in NYC to deliver trusted data products on Fabric/FDP. You will own end-to-end pipelines from ingestion to curated layers, with a focus on reliability, observability, and governance.

The role partners with EDM, BI, governance, and source teams to scale Fabric delivery. The ideal candidate has up to 5 years in data engineering, strong Fabric experience, and a passion for measurable, high-quality data solutions that support

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric implementation across data layers.
• Experience designing medallion data flows and scalable Fabric pipelines.
• Strong testing, data quality controls, and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Fabric data products and pipelines.
• Engineer restartable ingestion with schema evolution and idempotency.
• Embed data quality, lineage, monitoring, and automated testing in data products.
• Collaborate with architects, governance, BI, and delivery teams.
• Maintain source-to-target mappings and runbooks throughout lifecycle.
