CBRE is seeking a Database Engineer in Lincoln, Nebraska to review, design, and implement databases and related products that support business operations. You will develop views and front-end interfaces for users to update data and maintain processes, with a strong focus on SQL, cloud platforms, and ownership of end-to-end solutions.

The role sits within the Database Engineering function, responsible for maintaining databases across multiple platforms and environments.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree or related professional certification preferred.
Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines for relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Azure SQL.
Strong SQL and data warehousing concepts required.
Familiarity with Python and Git-based development.

Mansioni

Design, build, maintain, and improve data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, reporting, operational applications, and business decision-making.
Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, application teams, and other engineers to turn complex data requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions.
Develop solutions using Power Platform products including PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure SQL, etc.
Ensure data quality and integrity using validation, verification, and reconciliation processes.
Optimize database and application performance by fine-tuning queries, indexing, and building data structures and views.
