Job summary

Sigma Computing is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to own the underlying data architecture across Snowflake and Databricks, building and optimizing ETL pipelines for internal and demo use cases.

You'll report to the Head of Data and work on high-visibility greenfield projects with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and GTM. 3+ years in data engineering and startup experience are preferred. This is a high-growth role at Sigma.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines into Snowflake and Databricks.
• Strong collaboration with Analytics and Infra teams.
• Experience deploying data governance frameworks.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and move fast.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Startup experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage production data pipelines in Snowflake and how they are consumed in Sigma.
• Build foundational processes for scaling demo asset data across Cloud Data Warehouses.
• Partner with the infrastructure engineering team to ensure high availability of key data assets.
• Build and scale data governance policies.
• Work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, GTM with users of all skills.
