Job summary

Stream is seeking a Lead Data Engineer for Revenue Operations to own the data platform end-to-end. You will build ingestion pipelines, transform data, and ensure reliability while shaping the platform architecture in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate across GTM and product to deliver trusted datasets to Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and internal CRM, with AI-forward analytics translation and strong emphasis on data modeling and architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data platforms.
• Expert SQL and strong Python.
• Experience designing incremental, idempotent, well-tested pipelines.
• Solid experience with BigQuery or another modern cloud data warehouse.
• Experience with modern ELT tooling such as SQLMesh, dbt, dltHub, Fivetran, or Airbyte.
• Experience with orchestration and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Airflow, or equivalent).
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or a close equivalent.
• Strong data modeling skills: dimensional modeling, warehouse design, testing, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the ingestion platform using Python/dltHub pipelines into BigQuery.
• Build the transformation layer with SQLMesh models and clean dimensional models.
• Improve reliability with data quality checks and monitoring; trace issues across pipelines.
• Own the platform infrastructure including BigQuery, GCP, Terraform, IAM, and deployment workflows.
• Enable the business by delivering trusted datasets to Looker Studio, Sheets, and CRM; run reverse ETL to Salesforce.
• Raise the technical bar by shaping engineering standards and architecture.
