Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an engineer to lead the Data Team's core data pipelines, data models, and integrations with Salesforce. You will own end-to-end data systems powering analytics and AI-driven features, ensuring data freshness, quality, and scalable delivery across enterprise customers.

You will shape architecture, drive cross-team collaboration with product and engineering leadership, and mentor others while shipping high-impact data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production data systems at scale.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, OLAP (ClickHouse or similar), CDC and event streaming.
• Proven technical leadership influencing architecture and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship data systems end-to-end: models, pipelines, sync, serving layers.
• Drive design for high-volume, multi-component systems with emphasis on correctness and freshness.
• Own Salesforce data flows at enterprise scale.
• Build analytics and insights infrastructure for customer-facing reporting and internal decisions.
• Define data quality standards including SLOs and data contracts.
• Own delivery from scope/design through launch and monitoring.
