WEX Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer 2 focused on Data Engineering & Data Architecture to own data pipelines powering the Customer Data Platform (CDP). You will model data, feed marketing segmentation, and support customer journeys with an end-to-end ownership approach.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to governance and scalable data solutions within Snowflake and dbt-driven pipelines.

Formación

• 3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or a data-centric software role.
• Proven ability to design and build scalable data models and staging environments in Snowflake.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build robust data models and pipelines in Snowflake using dbt.
• Own feature-level architecture decisions and ADRs for data platform components.
• Translate complex business rules into scalable data processes and schemas.
• Collaborate across engineering, analytics, product, and business teams to align on a single source of truth.
• Develop automated data quality checks and participate in AI-augmented workflows to improve efficiency.
