Job summary

The role leverages Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage to deliver trusted data assets for student success, finance, and research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL proficiency (T-SQL, Spark SQL) for analytics.
• Experience with Azure SQL databases / RDBMS performance tuning.
• ETL/ELT data pipelines development.
• Databricks and Azure Data Factory familiarity.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering.
• Git and CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployment.
• Ability to document and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage.
• IaC concepts (Databricks Asset Bundles; Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Data modeling (dimensional/star schema).
• Governance and metadata management tools.
• Knowledge of higher education data systems.
